Data Management Systems
Data management systems developed within Microsoft Access using Visual Basic. Systems developed to date have included facilities to record and control all project details, including the following:
Project Estimation
Input of time / cost information to produce detailed project cost information and progress reports
Deliverables Tracking
Input of project deliverables / drawings, with facilities for recording type, discipline, CAD and construction references, issue status, progress, percentage completion, expended man-hours, transmittals to clients, transmittal dates, client responses, etc. for each project deliverable
Expended Man-hours
Input of expended man-hours to networked timesheets, linked to main database to record and report overall company expended man-hours, against employees, cost centres and task codes
AutoCAD link
Linking of AutoCAD drawings to database to enable automatic tracking facilities
MS Project / MS Excel link
Automatic linking of system data to Microsoft Project and Excel to utilise tracking and reporting facilities
